Gardening organically and sustainably is central to all our workshops below and we can show you it doesn't need to be costly or difficult to garden. In fact, we can show you how you can grow herbs in recycled oil tins to pots and garden beds.
Learn how to create healthy composted soil and set up irrigation for raised bed gardening. Soil preparation is key to ensure your soil in raised beds are aerated, nutrient rich and ready for sowing seeds.
In this hands on workshop, you will learn to how to make and use natural methods of pest and disease control. Mitigate pests with barriers and traps. All participants will receive a fact sheet with organic recipes and application guide.
You will learn the basics to grow healthy vibrant crops such as: preparing your soil, where to plant your crops, tried and tested companion planting, sowing seeds, potting on and organic fertilisers.

Tiered planting of herbs is a clever way of cramming a lot of plants into a small space. Each child will take home a two tier herb pyramid and facts and recipes about what they have planted to share with family and friends
Learn about plants that have no roots and plants that catch and store there own water supply. Each child will take home a potted succulent and air plant bauble of their choice to hang in their yard or home.
