Five steps to create your edible garden
Step 1: Request a consult
Once you make the request, we'll set up the meeting promptly. Then the 1 hour consult begins with a tour of your garden, find out your garden needs and lifestyle.
Step 2: Garden consult onsite
We tour your space and explain our gardening principles and best practice for raised bed edible gardens. Finally, we discuss the edible garden designs options that fit your landscape, lifestyle and goals.
Step 3: We design and plan
We work on your preferred edible garden design. We also provide an estimate on materials and installation. Estimates are based different options from: full service or DIY options.
Step 4. Approving the project
You confirm design and installation options so we can provide a detailed estimate on raised based construction and installation, irrigation options, special soil mix with organic compost and seeds and plant selection.
Step 5. We deliver your dream edible garden
Once estimate is approved, we work promptly to get your raised bed ordered or constructed. We work very hard to get your edible garden installed in two to three weeks of your approval.

Bee Horticultural New edible garden consult
Discover the possibilities of seasonal edible garden with your personal garden coach. What's included in this 60 minute consult:
- we discuss your edible gardening goals and priorities
- we give an introduction to our gardening principles and best practice for raised bed edible garden
- a detailed crop plan for one season
- plant care and maintenance sheets
- all emailed as PDFs and offered as print outs on request.
Cost: $120 (60 minute consult)
Bee Horticultural Edible garden consult & design
We will create a dynamic and abundant edible design that compliments your garden space, needs and lifestyle. One week after our consult, we'll deliver a design layout of your preferred edible garden design and materials options for you to choose. What's included:
- 1 garden design layout for up to 25 meters sq of raised bed garden area
- key necessities for garden setup
- detailed explanation of four seasons gardening in Sydney
- an introduction to our gardening principles and best practice for raised bed kitchen garden
- detailed crop plans from for up to two gardens beds
- plant care & maintenance sheets
- material recommendations
- all emailed as PDFs and offered as print outs on request.
- raised bed garden construction and installation estimates based on full service or half service installation of your choice.
Cost: $300
Edible garden installation
After design is approved, we will provide a detailed estimate for both the materials and installation.
Installation options: Full service or half service (client DIY install) options.
Full service includes:
- removal of existing vegetation
- construction and installation of the raised bed structures
- irrigation installed
- specially mixed soil with organic compost and manure
- seeds
- plant labels.
Half service: Some of our clients prefer to do the install themselves and simply order design, materials and coaching services. Half service includes:
- specially mixed soil with organic compost and manure
- irrigation (included as an option for extra fee)
- Garden coach preparing soil and install of garden beds
- sowing seeds following crop plan
- plant labels.
This options allows you to participate in the installation while we ensure you are setting your kitchen garden up correctly for success.
Estimates are based on raised bed materials, full service or half service options.

Bee Horticultural: existing edible garden consult
Refresh your gardens growing potential. This consult is great for anyone who wants to discuss any challenges or difficulties in their garden and identify regenerative solutions and organic principles for health in the garden and to attract beneficial insects. The consult will include:
- testing soil pH and discussing solutions
- strategies for ameliorating your soil
- organic remedies for pests
- detailed crop plan for the season
- plant care and maintenance
- organic liquid and soluble fertiliser schedule for edible plants.
Cost: starting from $100
Seasonal garden maintenance
Gardening can be overwhelming in Sydney. Garden beds can quickly turn into jungles and plants can be decimated by pests and bad weather. We'll help you maintain a healthy and beautiful garden by refreshing your plants each season, testing and improving your soil and managing any pest problems you have. We will also teach you strategies for tending your plants so that you grow your garden knowledge.
What's included:
- testing the pH of your soil
- improve and prepare your soil with nutrients, compost and worm castings
- weeding
- mulching
- treat any pest problems with organic remedies (if required)
