About us - design and install raised bed edible gardens and maintenance

I'm Alicia Anderson and I founded Bee Horticultural, a kitchen garden and garden maintenance company based in Sydney, NSW. I'm a qualified horticulturalist (Certificate III in Horticulture) and sustainability professional (Bachelor of Sustainability),  and mum of twin sons. 

I founded Bee Horticultural from a desire to combine my love of gardening, growing fresh food and to educate blossoming gardeners to cultivate a kitchen garden lifestyle.

Previously, I worked in local government, implementing environmental programs and assisting the community to adopt sustainable living practices in their homes. My work taught me a valuable lesson: a united passion can inspire our community. 

After learning to grow loads of greens, herbs, and vegetables in my own backyard, I found my passion and wanted to share the joy, simplicity and convenience of growing your own food with the community. 

So, in 2020, I launched Bee Horticultural - a kitchen garden and maintenance company that design and install raised bed edible gardens across Greater Sydney. Our goal is to create 100 kitchen gardens in Sydney's homes and schools.

We also offer garden maintenance services such as weeding, pruning, soil improvement, planting out gardens and refreshing gardens. We also are passionate about using organic pest control methods.
